How To Get the Look

The best part about the trend is how easy it is to replicate. If you've ever painted your nails at home, you probably already know the drill, but we will walk you through the step-by-step to make sure your stone nails turn out perfectly.

First, as with any nail look, remove any lingering nail polish with remover. Then, cut and file your nails to the desired length and shape—this would also be the time to apply any tips or press-ons if you desire. After that, buff the surface for an even nail bed before applying your favorite base coat and letting it dry.
With your nails prepped, it's time for your gray polish. Luckily, Earle shared the exact shade she used, OPI's Suzi Talks with Her Hands ($12). You could also try out DND's shade from their follow-up video, Bayberry ($9), or Jin Soons' Grace ($18) for a lighter version of the trend. Whichever you choose, seal in the color with your favorite top coat, let dry, and add a dollop of nail oil for their health. Then you will look stone cold.
